I am not opposed to an individuals rights to own guns. I do believe our system for approving who can own a gun has many loopholes and weaknesses.

 

I think that states should regulate guns the same way they regulate automobiles and driving.

• Require training

• Test for compitance

• Require insurance and make owners liable for the damage their weapon may cause

• Background checks should be nationwide links including mental health and criminal history.

• Provide a way to clear errors in this checking
